---During March 18th-12th, Deputy Director
of HRC Mr. XU Jincai headed for Kenya with Mr. DONG Dafu
and Mr. MENG Ke from Hangzhou Yatai Hydro Equipment Completing
Co., Ltd for undertaking SHP cooperation. The delegation
met with H.E. Mr. Joseph K. Njoroge, Principal Secretary
of Ministry of Energy & Petroleum, and also paid a
return visit to two former participants of HRC's training
workshop respectively from the Ministry of Energy &
Petroleum and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Natural
Resources. The delegation was informed of the development
of renewable energy in Kenya, such as hydropower, solar
energy and wind energy.
They went to SHP Gikira and greeted
the on-site project team and offered guidance. Besides,
the delegates discussed with the Owner for further cooperation
in Kenya and neighboring eastern African countries, with
