Electric Commission, and Mr. Armando, General Manager
of Mexico Tratamiento de Agua Hydrotech, visited HRC twice
respectively on November 9th and 14th , 2014, discussing
cooperation in hydropower development.
CHENG Xialei, Director General of Hangzhou
Regional Center (Asia-pacific) for Small Hydro Power (HRC),
warmly welcomed the arrival of Mr. Jos¨¦ and Mr. Armando.
HUANG Jianping, Deputy Director of HRC, DONG Dafu, Division
Chief of R&D Center, LI Zhiwu, Chief Engineer of the
Design Institute of HRC, LIN Ning, Chief of the Division
of Foreign Affairs and Training, and related technical
staffs attended the meeting.
HRC side introduced its achievements in foreign-aid training,
scientific and technical cooperation and overseas projects.
Guests were quite interested in the containerized micro
hydropower unit developed by HRC, and expected to popularize
it in Mexico.
Also, they presented potential projects
in Mexico, water resources and environment and project
development procedures, and expressed that they would
acquire project information soon to discuss specifics
for cooperation. Additionally, they hoped to send personnel
to HRC for training, and enthusiastically invited HRC
experts to Mexico for delivering hydropower expertise
