---Entrusted by the Ministry of Science
and Technology and organized by HRC, the Seminar on Rural
Electrification Based on Clean Energy, a project sponsored
by the China-APEC Cooperative Fund, was successfully held
in Hangzhou during 2nd-8th August 2015. Thirteen experts
and officials respectively from Brawijaya University,
PT. LEN Industri (PERSERO) and RADJA Energy Group of Indonesia,
and Vietnam Academy of Water Resources, came to attend
this rewarding event.
During the seminar, the keynote presentations
titled "Clean Energy Application in Rural Area of
China" and "A General Survey of Rural Electrification
in China"were delivered by the HRC experts, while
the delegates from Indonesia and Vietnam made respectively
their country reports, focusing on "Development on
Clean Energy and Rural Electrification in Indonesia"
and "Development on Renewable Energy in Vietnam".
The cordial and in-depth discussion has been carried out
among the delegates from China, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Based on the sharing of rural electrification
technology based on SHP and other renewable energies,
the rich information concerning development mode, management
policy and practice experience in China, as well as the
importance attached to actual power demands in Indonesia
and Vietnam, the feasibility for setting up a simulation
project on decentralized power supply and hybrid power
generation system of SHP, wind power and solar energy
was actively studied and discussed by the delegates from
the three participating countries.
In addition, accompanied by the HRC
representatives, the Indonesian and Vietnamese delegates
paid the pleasant visits to the simulation system of hybrid
power generation in Zhejiang University, the solar base
of Risen Energy Co., Ltd in Ninghai, and the Shanghai-Electric
wind power equipment factory and the wind farm, taking
a close look upon the achievements scored in the field
of renewable energy development in China.
The successful implementation of this
training program greatly promoted the extensive and further
cooperation among China, Indonesia and Vietnam in the
field of clean energy and rural electrification. So far,
a MOT has been signed between HRC and Vietnam Academy
of Water Resources, while the cooperative agreements with
the Indonesian partners are to be finalized. (2015-08-17)
