---As required by the National Key R&D Program of China called "China-Pakistan Joint Research & Development Center for Key Technologies of Small Hydropower and Rural Electrification", totally ten (10) Pakistani scientists (or youth talents) will be provided with training and project-based research opportunities for six (6) months respectively in three groups. Now, the first three (3) Pakistani trainees have arrived in Hangzhou. On December 25th, a meeting was held between the project team of HRC and the Pakistani delegation.
At the meeting, HRC’s team extended a warm welcome to the Pakistani guests, and fully understood the current situation and needs of relevant research fields in Pakistan. Technical exchanges were carried out between both sides, mainly involved in three aspects of cooperation, i.e. development planning on hydraulic energy resources, the setting-up of SHP standard system framework and the SHP engineering design. A detailed training plan would be formulated based on the research objectives and actual demands of Pakistan, and the training program for Pakistani young talents was officially launched, which would definitely promote the effective implementation of the National Key R&D Program of China.(2019-01-02)
